Understand some of the multiple meanings for the word &#8220;Reconstruction&#8221; and consider the discussion questions about this short film clip. Be prepared to talk about Reconstruction and its multiple meanings in class on Friday &#8211; bring a 50-word sentence as a starting point for discussion.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Use the document you got in class on Wednesday to write a \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Pre-SkillBuilder,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d seeking a way to connect it with something you find in Chapter 14. Bring the printed paper to class on Friday, or email it to me BEFORE start of class. This is not graded but will give me a chance to see what your baseline skills are in analyzing primary sources and using history\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s writing conventions (including footnotes). Guidelines for SkillBuilders are found on page 4 of the syllabus or at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tonahangen.com\/wsc\/us2\/skillbuilders\/\">SkillBuilders tab<\/a> above, and guidelines for correct use of Chicago Style are in the left sidebar links.
